Site is back up I see....

Not much into birds lately. I still have 6 Peacocks - 2 Black Shoulder males & 4 hens. May one day get more Pheasants.

Still into cars - 72 Pintos.
White one still not done (long story).
Started another one, lots of work to do yet.

I have many of the parts needed for this project.
Engine will be a 302w bore & stroke to a 28oz 331.
1969 closed chamber heads, worked over & with big valves.

Vintage intake, which will be worked over & port matched to the heads.

I have a T-5 ready to go.
I have a 9" diff - needs to be narrowed yet. Detroit Locker & likely go with 4:10s

Found a NOS set of Headman Headers. Have not been made since the early 80s ?

FYI - engine in the white car. Headers are being built right now.

Bud Moore Mini Plenum intake. Custom water neck , designed & built by me. Everything on the car is custom !

Trans is a Super T-10. Shifter is an in-line shifter by Long Shifters. Lift the small T handle & push forward for 1st. No more need to touch the T handle, just pull straight back for 2nd, straight forward for 3rd & back for 4th. Handle with holes is for reverse.

Happy new year Steve

Right back at ya John

This weather down here in WV has caused the pheasants to start an early mating season along with the morning dove.

We went from the 70's last week in Dec 2015 to right now 15* Yesterday we even got snow on the ground not much, just a dusting and the temps were in the 30's. Today same thing on the temps in 30's.

By the end of the week we should be back up into the 40's  j2

16* and clear skies here this morning.
It hit the upper 50's in the sun. In the shaded areas the ground still had frost.

Today and all the way thru Sunday mild temps with the increase chances of rain, then Monday the bottom falls out with the high low 30's.

I got my first pheasant egg yesterday afternoon. 3 months early with this weather.

Have a nice day John th3
