Ladies and Gentlement,

I am sorta confused.  I have read posts and looked at the chart, I'm confused.  I have a Little Giant incubator which has 2 "slots?" which hold water.  I read where the temp should be 100 degrees to incubate the eggs.  As I have been reading, it sounds like the temp should be different with forced air and wet bulb?  So mine has forced air and an auto egg turner, I know, the turner has nothing to do with it.  Could someone explain the "wet bulb" to me?  I fill the two "slots" with water and get the temp set to 100 for quail.  Is this correct?  I don't have anything to measure humidity, but can get something if needed.

For those that don't know, the Little Giant is just a styrofoam box with a fan, very touchy thermostat, and 1/4" hardware cloth.  My 1st hatch out of 16 eggs that looked good when candled, hatched 8.  I would appreciate any input as I have recently put 115 eggs in it.  This temp and wet bulb thing has me wondering if I have my temp right.  The thermometer that came with it is the "old" style glass with red mercury.

Any suggestions?

Jeff

Now it seems pretty simple to understand.  Don't know what my problem has been.

Thanks,
Jeff
