what do you use for your bobwhite quail hens to lay there eggs in?

hi Andy,I have been using dry weeds for nesting beds. It seems to work well. But first I built a wooden box to put it in, they don't scratch it out as bad. then I  put the weeds in it. They tend to scratch a lot, but I refill it when needed and if there are any insects in it, leave them in it, they will eat them. :)
