I am looking at cover crops for inside flight pens such as millet, sorghum, corn etc. I have a wild bird feeder area and buy boss by the 50 lbs.

I did a quick germination check on the BOSS seeds and the rate is above 90%.

So my question(s)

1) how does sunflowers work for cover in pens?

2) What about a mix of sorghum, millet and corn?

3) What is best for pheasant? Bobwhite?
