Quail Pen

[QUAIL]

Hi out there I was wanting to raise bob whites this year and the pen I am going to build is going to be 4ft wide by 12ft long. With wire on the floor and about 4ft tall built off the ground. Any ideas about how many bws I could raise in this size of pen?Thanks for the input.

Quail, I wouldn't put no more than 50 birds in that size pen.  Jim

Can anyone tell me where I can find detailed plans to build a quail recall pen? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Build your pen 2 ft. tall not 4ft..If something spooks them and they have that much head room they will kill themselves..
