Does anyone have any plans for a homemade bird launcher? Similar to the inotech ones only mechanical. with a kick latch or a pull string? Any electronic ones?

Check out Lion Country Supply. They don't have the plans. But the sell a manual launcher around $40 and a kick cage for $20. It's not worth the frustration to me to try an make one. Hope this helps.  :D

A skket thrower would work nicely. Before you envision a bird beeing slung to his death with a poof of feathers hear me out. The spring can be adjusted where it just barely lovs the bird. The arm can be shortened and a strawberry container could house the quail. The channel that adjusts the elevation could be increased with the shortening of the throwing arm. All could be done for less than $20.

only 1 problem. The skeet thrower alone will be 30 bucks. add 20 =$50.00
I bet some one could come up with a cheaper way.

Looking for some I deas . Thanks it would work but pricy. I may just put the bird on one end of a 2X4 AND A LOG IN THE MIDDLE AND JUST STEP ON IT.lol

Britguy
There is one in Larry Muellers book it is made of pvc pipe some hinges and a spring. I got mine from lion country and put the stuff from a RC car. It works good to about 75 yards...
