Our opening weekend of Quail season was this past Saturday. Temps started out in the low 50's but by lunch was pushing 70 with sunshine and dry winds. If your dogs are accustomed to hot weather I guess this is not a problem.

But my question is how hot is too hot to run your dogs?

More water?
More breaks?
More dogs?

I saw no one has posted an answer for you since Nov 12th.

Jeff
One thing to remember if you are getting warm your dog is hot.
If it is 70 at your head the ground Temp is going to be even warmer.
Hydrate dogs more .
Prescout where you are hunting and know where your ground water is so you can cool their body.
Find some older training tips published by Delmer Smith.

Yes, plenty of cool water should be available for the dogs and ensure they receive a great diet (which I am sure you are already doing).
