I would have done a "search" on this subject.........but you all know the story!
How old do Bobwhites have to be to start breeding? And is there different ages for females and males?

TB about 6 months is what I figure on. After they start laying check fertility it could take several weeks before the eggs are fertile.

Yeah, but how can you check fertility? DO you have to check it after incubating or is there a different way even before incubation?

I would guess you would need to incubate for a few days and then candle. If anyone has better way please let me know. I am new to hatching/breeding and am not sure.

Bobs can start laying around 16 weeks onwards, depends on how fast you want to boost them along if not expect what Don said round 24 weeks

Thanks everyone......I've got a bob that is about 1 year old and he is in the flight pen with about 8 hens that are 9 weeks old, and I was just wondering what to expect.
