I have 3 species of desert quail. , Valley, Gamble, Blue Scale.
All birds are colony groups of 9 hens and 7 cocks in a 4x8 pen or 32 sq. feet for 16 birds.
All birds are kept separated by age and breed.
All colony cages (40) of them face east.
No artificial light.

I am starting to get eggs from the 2 year old Valley quail daily, but none from any of the other breeds or the 1 year old Valle's.

Is this just a coincidence or a proven about the breeds and age.
