I notice that for 4' X 100' 6 ga 1/2 X 1" is $227 st BF. The same wire is $223 at Cutler, but it is $153 at 3T which is why I was wondering about the quality. I'm getting ready to build some new flight pens, 12' X 100', so this would be for the deck of the pen, same as you have done. One question for you is after looking at your pens, I see they are open under the decking. Do you have any problems with raccoons, or other predators? Here in Mich I can hardly keep them at bay. I have to put wire around the outside with at least 2 strands of electric fence. Just curious is you have the same problem? Back to the wire, I think I'll order enough for one pen and see how it works out. Thanks for the info.

MTBullion;
Not too much snow where your from I'll wager. :grin:

No not much, It just so happens it is snowing right now, but it wont stay.  Just enough to be pretty, but not a pain.  Although Mt. Bullion is covered right now.  My avatar photo is Mt. Bullion and it is white now.

Yea you are probably talking over 350,000 quail, pheasant and chukar when everyone is at full capacity early fall.

I don't think I saw bf for netting when I looked on the web. I bought 1" knotted from cutler. They were fast shipping too. I was gonna go with the 2 in until I had a georgia giant quail get out of our small pen and walk right through our 2" chain link like it wasn't there. this promted me to get the 1".
I got cheap stuff for my first pen top and it's worthless in the snow.
