Quail Nesting Boxes?

I am buidling some new quail cages and what I did was bought a big double rabbit cage and on one side i put a nesting boxes. I figure they would like to lay their eggs in their and also hide.
I have a few cages already made that did not come with the nest boxes. Do yall recommend that every cage has one for them?
If so I need to get to work............
