Title: about burning of a field

if i threw seeds down like milo or some other sort of seed before a burn, would it grow after the burn?

Probably not if they burn up.   If I were to try that, I would put down the seeds after I burned it. Actually, I would burn then disc if possible, then disperse the seeds.
