Hey I am new to this place,I have been around incubation for years have had incubators for years, always table top models I ran across an old sears and roebuck cabnet type at a great price. When I brought it home pluged it in the wires were shorted, It had two screw in fuses, that blowed so I redone it The fan still runs I put a new heating element in it,But the problem is it has duel thermastats I have never had them before one has a blue wire the end is stripped it has another blue wire that runs to the other thermastat that has a white wire that comes out the end is stripped. how would they hook up? any advice would be welcomed

Take a look at this:

I had posted a link in this thread that directs you to www.gqfmfg.com.  They have some wiring diagrams online for their incubators in which some have dual stats,  don't know if it will help you any or not.

If you're familiar with electric you should be able to track down the problem with an ohm meter, start at the fuse block and start unhooking things until the "short" goes away......then you'll see what is causing the problem.

Good Luck!   .....and....  s016
