How long of a break do you give the girls when you are having them lay year round? I mean is it a month or two or maybe even none? Does that shorten up their egg laying life also?

I have mine lay for a year straight starting in the spring. Then come the next spring I have back ups which I switch out. A lot of people don"t like this but it works out pretty good just use the right amount of light and they will lay all winter long. Thank ya Jim
