help in gambells

hi here again asking for help on some questions y have on gambells production
1st, y have some pairs and im using photo period methot, and for the bob whites y produce i have no problem but the gambells is diferent history the begain to lay but all the suden they stop for the rest of the year, what can i do to make them lay year round like the bob whites?

and 2nd im using a 28% protein food  on them , here in mexico theres no other food whith similar pecentage of protein than a mix for baybies, what kind of protein is suficient for gambells  to make them lay beter?
