Need some advice ! Some of our laying hens are laying down in the laying cages. Take them outside away from the roosters in growing pens, and in about 4 hrs. or so their up and going. Have lost some hens, but not one rooster. It's been a wet and cold, May here. We did try some new feed this spring, it's rated at 20% laying mash, and we add oyster shells, and grit. I'm really puzzled, and the laying percentage is bad. Probably 30 %, looks like the soft eggs, are starting to get end. Getting behind on our chick hatching. If you have advice feel free to send me a e mail or post . Thanks Yote1
