OK no laughing by my northern buddies.
Here in Fort Worth Texas 2 days ago we had an all time record snow fall 12 inches in 1 day .
Disastrous for us.
Have Huns and Valley quail already laying.
Lost 1 flight pen that was built from 2in. PVC and 1 in. netting .
The weight broke 7 of the PVC arches.
Thank goodness no birds in it.
No satelite for internet or TV for for two days.
Just home from shoulder surgery, talk about stir crazy

Last 2-3 days has been raining as well. Good thing, as AB has been in drought conditions. Huge fire to the east (over 3000 Ha) is finally under control.

Some kid rolled a car about 2km to the north of me. Going too fast on a gravel road and came to a corner.
Of course, it caught on fire. Burned up a bunch of bush along a creek.....same one that runs along the front of my place. Good thing the wind was from the south that day. With all the dry fuel along it, it could have gotten to my place very quickly !

New Peacock male isn't fond of thunder though....."screams" at it every time  s020
Also at loud vehicles, ATVs, farm tractors....

So. Rain , for me , means another shop day. Will have to invent some new cannot do without "thingy".   s020
