The only electrolyte solution my local TSC carries is called "Advance Arrest" by MS Specialty Nutrition.  I was wondering if anyone could compare these ingredients to their packages and let me know if I could use this for week old quail?

salt... not less than 3.5 %
salt... not MORE than 4.5%
sodium not less than 1.75%
sodium not more than 2.25%
magnestium not less than .05%
potassium not less than .5%
copper not less than .4ppm
zinc not less than 1.5ppm
dextrose not lses than 33.0%

I also found a great conversion chart that may be helpful to others....

My Vi-tal elecrolyte supplement lists a higher percentage of those ingredients than yours, except mine doesn't list dextrose. Does that go by another name?
Anyway, it is for all livestock. I remember back when I first bought some, it only listed hogs/cattle but they assured me I could use it for quail etc...just a lot smaller dose.
Took some figuring on that.  Anyway I use 1/4 tsp / gal of water or less....started out with about 1/16th of a tsp.    It works great
