150-200 sq.ft run then their protective structure after that. Minimum.
Bigger is always better.

Like Reeves said, bigger is better. I was reading that they were quite agressive and on the first and last pair I got, the male have been alive in my installations for 72 hours, after this I've made a pheasant and pesto pizza, wonderful! Seriously, I don't know if I had a male more agressive but I won't try this bird again for many years, I'll wait to have huge aviaries to let some hang out in it.

Really delicious, if you ever want to eat pheasant pizza ; try it (but if your pheasant pair is nice keep it! ) :

- 1 italian bread (looking like a sun-bread) with grounded chives
- put tomato sauce on it
- put your pre-cooked pheasant on it
- put pesto and few vegetables
- put mozzarella
- 400F for 15 minutes
- TASTE IT  a31
