Heres the current price of gas here.

Actually this was taken in October 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  I thought it would be good to take a picture of their HIGH gas prices to show everyone in case they didnt believe me.  The price of our gas was about 90 cent a gallon.  Hate to see what it is now on the strip.

$4.80 a gallon for diesel in Charlotte, NC.   700 miles cost me $340.  I'm going to start drilling for my own oil.

Diesel 4.79 Regular Gas 3.89 Upstate  South Carolina.   Talked to my Neighbor this evening he planted 70 acres of Corn ,Cost 18000.00 to plant 75 acres after Gly4 , Insurance & Fertilizer. He told me that there no Soy Beans to be bought for the June planting!!! Corn was 120.00 for 50# bag . And we think 11.00> 15.00 is a lot for Quail feed.
I need Insurance when i set Quail Eggs c109

5/28/08 Mineral Wells Gas prices for the 10 mile radius from my farm, Off I-77 at 3 stations: $4.09.9 and the 7-11 Exxon is at $4.19.9

$.10 differents from 2 miles apart. Local Cop Shops are having budget problems due to the gas prices. Some of the local Cop Shop have started limiting there patrols. s020

 s20

You're one funny guy Reeves!!

I wish they'd get it up to $5 even..........it would be easier to figure in your head how much $$ a fella would need to fill a can. With these odd numbers, I have to get out a pencil and paper!   s47

Overall, it only cost me $100 more in fuel than it did last year for the same trip to NC (about 700 miles round trip).

Everybody better hold onto their britches when the Electric companies jump on the wagon too.   :-o

Oil wells around here that have been setting idle for years are getting a working over and they're firing them back up.  I have my doubts as to whether it will make any difference if they're pumping oil or not?

Think it's bad here?.........some countries have companies (US based) that own the mineral rights to water.........even the rain water is illegal to catch!!

If Hussien Obama gets his way, we'll have to hunt with a spear and a slingshot in order to eat.   s53

I was working yesterday, so sent the wife with the truck for warranty work (front outside axle seals fell out !) and put two gas cans in the back, told her to fill them. Still empty. Says it's too much money to spend on cutting grass. She plans on less area to cut this year. Neighbor wants to pasture a couple mini horses on a couple areas.
I said no problem.....as long as some one other than ME cleans up the horse pucky !
Good Coyote bait though....

Why even pick it up? It is bio-degradable or use your hoe and pill it up and sell it as  c109 to the other neighbors that need the fertilizer.

Then again, if you can get enough of it you can bury it and start a methane gas farm s020

Drive in any direction for an hour and all you'll see are farms.....no need for dung piles at my place !
That's why I want something like a Deer species. Little small "pellets" that I'll not have to clean up !
