I did before I decided to that I was going to raise 15,000 or more quail each year. For the price and what you can really put in them, I will build much bigger buildings.

Now that you say that, got me to thinkin...

I could insulate a 10' x 25' room i have built, and use it.  I have a bunch of insulation......hhmm

The way I have my pens set up is I can brood them inside open the flip door and let them go outside. I usually open up at 5 weeks. Heat is usually off right before that. I have a couple buildings that are 30x15' they are split in half and connected to a 12x48' flight pen. I will start 500 birds in that area and can open everything up and let them out and have enough sq footage for the birds until maturity.
