Mild again here  this morning, high 20s, no wind but snowing south of us with a lot of snow moving across Indiana and Ohio heading for Steve and north. Tomorrow morn  I'm leaving for Ohio, halfway between Columbus and the state line. Visiting a friends farm to pick out some heifers.  Life goes on.

Winter is here but its getting scared because I am told global warming is going to kick in any moment.

I got home from Ohio last night about 1130 having spent a couple of balmy spring days in central Ohio,   temps pushing 30, just all round nice spring day.

It was 20 last night when I got home, 16 this morning, 18 now, supposed to get cold tonight, and we got 3" of snow early this morn, which has drifted.

Sure glad global warming kicked in when it did.

Yesterday was warm at about -3c but snowing and strong winds from the south.

This morning the wind is strong from the NW and -5c. By this evening it's supposed to be -18c and getting cooler through the night. Tomorrow morning will be about -25c at my place.
Should be fun shoveling snow off of the roof today  ::)

Reeves,

Sure would like to see a picture of that. Do you actually use a shovel or do you use one of those telescoping pole snow roof rakes???

Tried a roof rake and they are more work than getting on the roof and "pushing" the snow off with a snow shovel.
However, the roof rake would likely be safer, or for females to use

(Why did : Hold my beer and watch this ! pop into my head ?  )

HHmmmmmmmm wonder where I've heard that before? s020

Now tweezy, please don't start....  There is to much time invested in this topic for me to delete the whole topic, and since I do not have the powers to edit posts, or delete posts, or move posts, please don't interject. If ode2god whats to reply more power to her.

But....... as I stated before, I am not looking for this topic that I started over a year ago to turn into a  s80 match.

Thank you in advance.
