BRRRRRRRRRRrrr this morning temps were -3 degrees and currently it is only 6 degrees at 10:00 PM.
Having all the normal difficulties of winter. Water freezing and having to be changed several times a day.
Of course being out in the cold weather I've had a cold now working on two weeks.
As it was said before this is just the begining of winter... Bah humbug!!!! I want to go south where it is warm and water doesn't freeze in the winter months.
My birds are holding up very well in this artic weather even with me having to tend the water problems so often.

-12f again this morning. Heaters running constantly to keep waterers from freezing solid. Wind has died down to about 8-10mph.
Wife had to go in for another double shift as the "never miss a day" guy called in for second time in four of his scheduled shifts. Kind of thought he might be that type as he made it a point to let her know he doesn't miss work ever when he was interviewed. Kids these days!

5* at 5:30 am dropped down to 2* by 6:30
Will be in the mid 20's for the highs today. Another mix of snow and rain to come in tomorrow.
I hope it's snow and not the rain. With two feet of snow on the roof it could be messy.

-2 F  when I got up, warmed up to 6 at 11, locally we've had more snow so far then all last winter, also been colder earlier, and lower.

This is NOT my idea of global warming. I think that extends to the border around gores mansion.
