Lost my dogs in the haar this morning, gave up looking for them after an hour only to find that they'd gone home without me ::) Temperature at the moment 45*F.  Its meant to get a bit better later on ....  at least its supposed to stay dry.

With the chill in the air, it won't be long now before we get the first frost.

Black Bear hunting with dogs started today in the lower section of WV. My son-in-law went this morning with a group of about 6 to 8 people with a couple of hounds. Hopefully I can get some bear meat in the freezer.

48* this morning. Bow season for deer opened on the 15th can't wait to get out.
Should go down to 38* tonight. Nice chill in the air to get the deer moving.

I believe Water World was with Kevin Costner,  Mel Gibson did the Mad Max movies..

Actually, I picture slider somewhere in the swamps of the Bayou with this shanty shack protected by gators as an alarm system, and the only way to and from his property is by a flat John boat or some kind of make shift bridge. s020

That's okay, I had to verify it with my wife. She is the one with the trivia knowledge.

How ya doing with the firewood? I have two trees and they are a little big for a one man tree chopin chump....  s85  s020  If I ever get these taken care of I will be finished.

I think I would really enjoy a vacation in an atmosphere set up like that. No people just the bogeyman and me.  s020  I hope some day I can fulfill this dream.  i6
