Finally got the sun to shine. Outside temp 36* and winds NW 2.5mph. Barometer 29.80 inches and rising.  high only 44*

Pens are massive mud, birds look like mud ducks, back yard looks like a swamp with 2 inches of water laying on top of the grass, creek bank caving in, pond all over flowing.

Other wise its a bea  j2 utiful day  :?:

I don't know which is the better of the two, 8-10 inches of snow, or 8-10 inches of mud like I 've got here.

Well after the lt rain early this morning, the weather turned out nice by 9am this morning with 38* and sunshine while I was out in the flight pen hooding the cock birds. Now the weather has turned sour. Total dark cloud cover and a raw 50*

I am done out there today. s176

brentsquailfarm,

How you making out with all the flood waters in Arkansas? Are you located with in this area that they are talking about?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Forecasters warned communities in the Arkansas prairie along the White River that they could suffer their worst flooding in more than a quarter-century under clear skies and sunshine.

You may be wondering why we issued a flash flood watch in eastern Arkansas when there is little to no rain in the forecast," John Robinson of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock wrote Sunday in an e-mail to reporters.

Rest of the story at: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080324/ap_on_re_us/severe_weather

Weather here seem good so far,28* sunshine, no rain or snow as predicted for the morning hours. Although they are still predicting 30% precip for some time during the day.

Nice spring weather  s020 s020 s020

Here in N.E. Louisiana it is 38* this morning with a high of 72* today. Clear and breezy looks like it is going to be another great day.. Quail are starting to lay a few eggs and doing alot of whistling.

It has been a little crazy around here. I live on Lake Norfork and it feeds the White River along with Bull Shoals lake. The lake is at 68% cap. @ 570ft and the Corps say until the flooding in lower ARK stops. They will not release any water. So I have been busy with the boat docks that I watch. Today it should maybe get to 60* and very windy with full bright sunshine. Good day all

Well here we have it once again light rain and the temperture sitting at 45* and calm winds. Later during the day we can look foward to:

Today: Rain with a thundershower possible this morning then variable clouds during the afternoon with scattered thunderstorms. High 58F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall around a half an inch.

It does look like some nasty stuff that will pass by me today the way it is heading. Never fails, just when the pen is just about dry.

s020 s53 and it isn't even April Showers month.
