Here we go again j47 another rained out day in the Mid-Ohio-Valley area. Rain started at 10:15 am with the temps @ 40* Barometric pressure 29.68" and falling. 53% humidity winds N @ 2.3 mph. Rainfall expected 1/2 inch.

Tonight: A steady rain this evening. Showers continuing overnight. Low 31F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a half an inch.

The outlook for tomorrow is just as bleak. :x

Tomorrow: Rain and freezing rain in the morning will transition to periods of snow in the afternoon. Cold. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph. 1 to 2 inches of snow expected.
................. and tomorrow evening, I'm going into Marietta, Ohio to see the Ultimate Fighting Contest.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy. Snow showers around by midnight. Low 16F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

So it will be either a bust in the weather, or quite sloppy going and coming home.

Freezing rain started here in Slate WV at 6am and looks to be continuing to around 4pm before it may turn into snow, unless the temps take a drastic drop. They are predicting 1-3 inches during the day and up to 1 inch overnight.

How are the snow totals coming from Ohio and other members within this storm belt?

Since the wind shift here, the snow is now falling earlier then expected.

We know have 2 inches on the ground, and under the snow 1/8 inch of sheer ice  s53

SW MO today is sunny and temp is around 50*.  The picture Steve posted is really pretty but from what I've seen on the weather channel it has been a bad winter for him.
I also bought feed this week, the price just seems to keep going up as I paided 11.60 per 50 lbs of Gamebird Layena and a bag of Scratch was 8.00.  oh well whats new. j10

What a nice sunny day today, temps climbing into the 60*s  while the barometer continues to drop for the weather changing to rain tonight and tomorrow.

Wind out of the SW @ 15-20 with the gusts getting to 25-35. blow drying the pens just in time for the rain it seems. Oh well I guess it is better then snow and temps in the 20*s.

Have a nice productive day if possible j2 , I think I will smoke a pork loin today with hickory.
