-4F yesterday, a high of 8, -2 this morn, all the way up to +2 now, will be colder tomorrow, we have a full moon coming in a day or so, expect it to drop down a bit more, thankfully, Lake Michigan hasnt frozen over yet, when that happens the bottom will be a lot lower.

It is snowing like crazy here since 8am this morning and we have accumulations of better the 1/2" of wet snow far. Winds are blowing from the west at 4mph with gusts up to 12mph

It is amazing that they only stated 1/2" or less of snow between 8am-11am then changing over to rain. If the snow continues the way it is going, we can see better then 1-2 inches before it turns to rain.

In the mean time the top flight netting is getting heavy, I dread the though of rolling the netting and having to become a snowman after double pneumonia.

labmancan,

It is getting to the point, s176 ,  I  don't know what the norm is anymore. Just when you think it is safe to come out and play, you get sandbagged.

This  s53  is getting old and fast  s80

It was ok feeding this morning, didn't have to put on the Skidoo suit. But when I went to town the snow was blowing off the fields and across the hi-way, lots of cars/trucks in the ditch! 4 wheel drive all the way in and back, at $4.26USd a U.S. gal. for diesel, that hurts! It's $1.07 CND for a litre. 4.55ltrs to the old gal. about 3.8 to the U.S.  s80 s80

15 this morning and a half inch new snow overnight, light breeze now. Looks like winter is going to stay, I expected colder this week. So far so good.

Not to bad out this morning, 15* calm winds and the sun is starting to come over the back hill in the partly cloudy skies.

Weather is going to change although to the bad with 40% chance of snow and winds WNW @ 10-15 mph and later going to 20-30mph.

Have a nice day!
