It got up to 40 but the wind came on and the flag is flapping hard, wind from the SW, not good. Its cooling down now, freezing rain forcast then more snow tonight.

Theres mud everywhere from all the ice/snow melting, you wouldn't think just an inch of snow/ice could create such problems. Well, theirs more rain heading my way ....more than a inch....great more mud!!(if only i raised pigs they would have a ball  a26)......temps above normal in the 50s and winds gusting past 45 mph.

Temps outside here on the Wood/Wirt county line in WV are 57.7* cloudy with winds SE @ 13mph.

Todays Outlook: Windy with rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers for the afternoon. Morning high of 55F with temps falling to near 40F. Winds SSW at 20 to 30 mph. Rainfall near a half an inch.

Not a good day to be out in the woods in a tree stand. c110

-8c right now & calling for 0c today. Had an inch of snow over night.

Went for a drive yesterday with the old trapper. We saw 5 Coyotes, 4 Porcupine. Didn't get any Utes. Windy & spooky. Also 7-8 White Tail 3 of which were close enough to hit with a rock. If one could find a rock to toss

Well here it is Dec. 26 th, outside temps 33* cloudy skies and calm winds. High for today 50* morning clouds then sunshine. Low tonight: 34*

If we keep this weather trend going, the birds will start laying j2

Total snowfall for Dec so far: 4 inches.

How are you people doing with the snowfall in the north?

-10c (or lower) and calling for variably cloudy....high of -8c.

Pulling my snares today, as it is a very small bush area & I do not want to wipe them out.
If I get in the mood, I'll go up the road a few miles and try for permission to snare another bush that looks like there are lots.
Yesterday I had another one...but some bird (Hawk or Owl) took the whole thing ! Nothing left but a gut pile.

What do your snares look like? So a picture of your set up.
