12* clear skies and calm winds this morning. Temps never got over 29* yesterday. They say high 45* today and sunny, but I doubt it.

Birdlover, how much snow in Queens did ya get before it turned to rain?

Temps here have bottomed at 11*. Fire going in the house and the dogs don't want to go out. The clear skies lastnight let what ever radiant heat that was acquired yesterday under all day cloud cover dissipate.

It's going to be a long haul for the temps to reach 45* today no matter how much sun we get.

All I can pick today, is ice out of the water buckets for the birds this morning.

Pheasant Hollow Farm, here in Queens we picked up less than an 1'' of snow before turning to rain.

Well all the snow here is gone once again since the temps did hit 45* by 3pm. Now we have the mud.

Temps this morning went from 31* to the current 37* and light rain. s80

The rest of todays outlook is grim:

Today: Cloudy with rain and snow this morning. Remaining cloudy this afternoon. High 43F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 40%.

25 here, got up to 32, with mist. Tomorow more of the same, our snow is settling, still got drifts 4' deep.

Started remodling the kitchen last week, we stripped it down to inner walls last week, starting to reframe it now, trying to save as much of the T&G Cedar as possible. Hopefully next week it'll be functional. Finished the week after.

Chilly morning with the temps at 20* heavy frost, fog and calm winds at 8am while out with the dogs running rabbits. Jump 2, but couldn't get a shot off. The fingers wouldn't work.

Starting to warm up with thew sun shining and the fog is gone and we have nice clear blue skies. High for today 45-50 and turning mostly cloudy with winds Lt & Var.

Have a nice day! c181

Double digits below 0 till next week. Variably cloudy as well.

Looking out the window right now & can see it is ice fog as well. Trees etc will look fuzzy today as it freezes to them. If the sun peaks out I may have to take a picture.

Good deal on the picture with the ice fog. I should have taken a picture of that here this morning.

Right now 53* mostly cloudy skies calm winds. Crazy as s53 s weather. Still muddy around the low areas.

Went out  c110 007 this morning for a couple of hours, and we had seen nothing.  c29
