Hello all,

My question is: Is it good practice to give my birds dewormer every so often? If so, how often? Or only when I see the symptoms of them having worms?

As always, Thanks for any info.

Ok, did some research and found that it is not good to deworm often because some parasites can become immune to some of the medications if so. So only deworm when needed. Also an interesting read about using natural deworming methods. Here is a link for future referrence. Its for cattle but covers a little on poultry. Plus I think they carry the same parasites etc.
