I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to tell the difference between  all the different varieties of Coturnix quail i.e. XLD1, Standard, Jumbo, and Texas A&M....is there a standard or anything? I'm pretty sure all the A&Ms are white. Also what are the pros and cons if any for any of these birds?

I dont know about XLD1but jombo browns or coturnix get at lest 10 oz or better
TA&M is a completely different subject
If you have A&M quail they should be a min. of 10-15 oz.
If they arent then you most likely have english whites which are coturnix quail also not A&M
