Hi BC, I suppose you could do this with quail. I would open them up length ways and fry them in the Butter/ Garlic mix 6 minutes per side breats side down first then flip to the rib section, then over once more to reheat and serve. If you do try this let my know how it turns out. The most important thing to kepp in mind is quail dry out fast and butter is helpful, but not a great replacement for natural moistness.
