Title: Bird sexing by feathers
Post by: DoubleL911 on August 17, 2008, 09:23:43 AM
There is a service offered in the Gazette for sexing of birds using the feathers.
Has any one used it on some of the tougher birds like Mt Quail.
Is it working

Not Mt. Quail but if you do not mind spending the 25.00 per bird it is a good thing. I have used them many times on Parrots. Just pluck out 5 or 6 brest feathers and send them to them in a ziplock bag and it takes about a week..
