  So, if Golden Pheasant aren't field birds, what are they?   

Their wild birds or ornamental birds.

  I guess I read too much on this thread, I'm not asking correctly.  I understand that some of them are "ornamental" especially here in the West, and some are so, in the Orient. 

  But the "wild" ones;  If not field birds, are they "Mountain Birds", "Forest Birds", "Desert Birds", "Prairie Birds", "Sand Hill Birds", "Snow Birds"? I'm just axing.

Golden Pheasants, as well as Lady Amherst pheasants are found in bamboo forest and other kind of similar habitat. I learned few months ago that they also use Warren rabbit holes as protection.

There are many different habitats for each pheasants species. On GBWF you can find the most important information on a lot of Galliformes species : www.gbwf.org

I try to take everything ( all the advice and info.) into account regarding my birds, i only want the best for them so thats how i'll treat them.  It may seem as i'm not listening but i'm learning from my mistakes which should make a better bird keeper.  I appreciate all the help you and everyone else has be given me, i couldn't thank you enough, well i'll learning from the best on this site.
