Well thanks to all the help and guidence from the members of the boards here I have a bunch of little BobWhites runing around in my brooder. They are eating unbeleivable amounts of food every day, which makes me very happy, but the question did come to mind of just how long do you grind up their food?
Thanks
Ed

I ground mine up for a week or so.  Once they started becoming really active it seemed that the powder-like feed got it their downy coat and they started pecking each other.  Observation is the best course of action.  I dont believe in a set time frame for grinding feed just as I do not believe in a set temperature and decreasing it linearly.  The birds will tell you all you need to know.  Hope this helps.  Dave
