For about three years I've kept white and ringneck doves in one of my pheasant pens and have had no health issues. They all eat from the same feeders and drink from a one gallon waterer. They have gotten along really well since the doves spend most of their time roosting high where the pheasants are on the ground except at night when they roost together

I like the sounds as well. The only problem I have had is once in a while a pheasant will step on one of the doves when I throw scratch out for them. So far no serious injuries! What kind of doves are you going to put in your pen?

I keep my extra males in with my pea fowl trio and so far I've had no problems. I don't think I would try keeping pheasant hens as it would get the males stirred up. I have a red golden, yellow golden and a lady amherst-golden cross in with two pea hens and one pea cock. they've been with them for a couple of years and they pretty much ignore each other. I have heard from friends that their pea fowl are pretty aggresive so maybe I'm lucky with mine.
By the way can you keep diamond doves outside in the winter? I was wondering how low a temp they could take.

Cool I hand feed my peafowl so that shouldnt be an issue with aggression
I think you can keep diamonds out all winter but they are doves so i will be putting a warming light in the roosting base i build for them
I researched it some and could never find an honest temp. range
You can google diamond doves there are a few good sites on them
I hope all this works out i really like the quails and doves singing in the evening
