I have about 85 bobwhite eggs that are due to hatch on Monday, when should I be able to hear chirping from the eggs? This is the first time I tried to incubate bobs and was just checking. Thanks !!!

You should normally hear very little chirping until the chick has pipped externally.

Some Folks claim that they can here them a day or two before they hatch by holding them up to there ear. I have tried but no such luck for me.
Good Luck !!

I just hatched 36 eggs and could hear them chirping the day before the hatch date. Then the next morn. they stopped completely. I got really worried, but that night after work they were running around the incubator ready for some food.
