No Bass or Catfish here though  BC and eastern Canada have both. Manatoba has Channel Cats ! In the Red River. No Venison in the yard last night....but a Snow Shoe Hare was around and under the trucks and all over the yard. That is ok, I am a saltwater fisherman at heart along with trout and steelhead and I know that they are the same only steelies go to the ocean for a swim.

Way too strong a fish taste for me !
You would like the BC coast then. Best fishing of my life was the 3 years I lived on the Queen Charlotte Islands !

The hay pile on the right is normal grass type.
On the left is a good quality alfalfa hay, which is the only hay they'll eat.
