i have a ostrich incub. that i have converted to turning trays so i can hatch quail eggs.  in the operator manual it says don't plug the exhaust hole they  even say duct  exhaust to the outside.  they say that the unhatch birds will breath oxygen and exhale carbon dixoide.  so let your unhatch bird breath fresh air. good luck
