Hello to all,

I have set up a TX6 incubator in the children's section of the library I go to.
In it I have placed 10 Ringneck and 19 Coturnix eggs all due to hatch on the 2nd and 3rd of May.

My question is about compatibility of the chicks.  I intend to keep the chicks in the incubator for 24 hours after the main hatch is done.  Will the larger pheasents be a problem for the quail :?:

I just picked my incubator up from my childrens school..we hatched pharoah quail with chickens...the chickens were 3 times the size of the quail, but we didn't have any problems...they stayed in the incubator for about 3 days so all the kids could see them....

The chicks should be fine for the next several days if you brood them together.  If you have them all set to hatch on the 2nd and 3rd then you must have put them in at different times due to the 6-7 day incubation diference.
