 s144 Trying to find out which if any small game birds will hatch their own eggs in captivity. Have raised b/w for a couple of years as hobby ready to try new birds

Isolation and natural settings are key with any bird, including BW's.

I have some of the larger Bobwhites and they do it readily and they are in a wire cage with 75 others, but as Reeves and CH  said it is better with a natural setting especially after they hatch..
