I haven't seen any live antlers all week. Some others in the hunting party got themselves a couple bucks and it's my rotten property!!   j10   JFYI:  Both bucks where still in rut and where huge bodied deer, we're going to get a set of scales for next year so they can be weighed.

I could say that I'm too picky, but that's not the case when I haven't seen anything to pick from!!!    My youngest son and I never got a deer last year and it looks as if we're going to keep that trend going.  I've about had enough myself, but I'll take my son out again this afternoon.

Here's a pic of one 9 point:

Nice one   s98 and congrats to the hunter!

That's what usually happens, you get skunked on your own property, and the guests' get the nice ones.

My son-in-law got a 10pt in Ohio yesterday, not sure what area, could be in the Athens/Reedsville area.

Then again, he paid the price for the out-of-state license as well.

Good looking deer guys. I have until Dec 15th to fill my bow tags. I'll be in my treestand this weekend.

Yeah, everyone benefits from me throwing money around....except me.  ^-^  Actually, I'm tickled to death with what they got.  We had a really good time.  I still haven't seen the first antler in the woods. I think someone walked through my property spraying "Deer-B-Gone"!    :-|

You'll need to get your hands on some of that "Deer-Be-Gone" for your next planting season !
