First of all, you want to set your camera at it's lowest setting.

What version of windows do you have?

If it's Windows XP, I use Microsoft Powertoys for XP, it used to be free.  I think it still is?
And it is really easy to use.

Here's the link:

I believe it's the first one on the list and it is a very small program, so it loads fast even on dial-up.

Surprised Photo Bucket isn't doing it for you ?

Also, you may not want to muck around with the original picture(s) . Make a copy and keep the copies in another folder. Once mucked up, always mucked up.

That program will not change the original picture (unless you manually prompt it to do so), it makes smaller copies with just a "right click" and your done.

With my dial-up internet I'd be forever dealing with photobucket or any other web based site.

If you have Windows Vista it comes with a program but you will have to load it. Once you do that it is real easy. Even I could do it .
