Title: any reason to NOT start off with the "quail starter kit"?

want to get into raising and releasing a bit for my small property and was considering the quail starter kit i seen from red oak (?)  anyone have experience with the little starter package for quail?  any reason i shouldn't consider this option... seems logical since everything is there to start. wanted to check with you guys first.... user opinions are everything! thanks. matt.

I do not  use the small incubators   .  For best results in releasing quail I  would recomend releasing at least 25 birds at a time at 6 weeks of age . Incubate arond 40 or so eggs at a time to insure you get  at least 25-30 to hatch  Good luck    If that starter kit can hold 50 or so eggs it should be ok

I do not have any personnal experience with this kit, although it appears to have everything you would need, I don't think that you can find any better quality equipment out there unless you were to go with a cabinet type incubator ($$$) as jchiar had mentioned. Also as jchiar mentioned, I too would spend a couple more bucks and order more eggs.

more.yea the small hova bators turners will hold 125 quail eggs. Without the egg turner, will hold
