Just wanted to say hello to all the great people on this forum. I'm from South Louisiana in a small town called Brusly located 5 miles south of Baton Rouge. Raised some coutnix quail 30 years ago while in high school and now that kids are grown and life is a moving at a slower pace i'm going to try it again. I have found out real quick that 50 lbs of feed is not $6.50 anymore. Looking forward to a great and joyful hobby.

Glad to be here. By the way the internet wasn't even around just a paper back book to try and learn. WOW this is great.     Thanks Tommy c29

Welcome, Tommy.  I live in Prairieville and also raise Coturnix and a few buttons.  I just got back in about a year ago after being out for about 8 years or so.  I started raising them in the late 70's, also before the internet.  Everything was pretty much trial and error...mostly error!

Good luck and welcome again,

David
