I have about 85 bobwhite eggs that are due to hatch on Monday,  when should I be able to hear chirping from the eggs? This is the first time I tried to incubate bobs and was just checking. Thanks !!!  :D  :D

You should normally hear very little chirping until the chick has pipped externally.

Some Folks claim that they can here them a day or two before they hatch by holding them up to there ear. I have tried but no such luck for me.
Good Luck !!

I just hatched 36 eggs and could hear them chirping the day before the hatch date. Then the next morn. they stopped completely. I got really worried, but that night after work they were running around the incubator ready for some food.
