Hello Arizona, Personally, I've never heard of anyone really having much luck with "domesticating" ringnecks to the point of being able to let them run free and have them return at night. I do know one man who allowed his silver pheasants to roam free during the day for many years and they always returned to their pen to roost at night. I'm not that brave with my silvers. If you try it and have any success put up another posting and let us know.
