I have been lurking in the background, and using the search function like crazy to gleem all of your collective wisdom on Quail.  Thanks for sharing all that experience with us.

My first attempt using the 30 eggs from the GQF starter kit was

7 cracked in shipment
2 infertile
1 failed to hatch
20 hatched and are looking good in the brooder.

Could not have done so well without you guys!
