WOW, are those piles of snow in your pens. How are your birds handling the snow. How much snow have you gotten this year.

Wow, where did you get the bare ground in the one picture? We can't seem to get two mornings in a row above 0. It is warming up during the day into the 30's so we are moving in the right direction. I am still looking for bare ground though. Hope it gets here fast, I'm going to Indiana next weekend to pick up a puppy and really want to start training.

Here in MN it has gotten a little warmer on average right now it's 50's in day 30's to 40's at night we had a couple days in the 60's and 70's and one in the 80's. But it has rained for the past 4-5 days and I am getting sick of it grrrrrrrrr. I did find 2 cukar eggs this morning but my pheasants don't want to lay yet o well.

It that a cat's tail I see in the second picture? Yup. I was just a bit slow taking the shot so she would be fully in the shot. are those piles of snow in your pens Yes. How are your birds handling the snow The Reeves will walk all over, dig in it & in general do not seem to mind it too much. However, all the Ruffed do not like it at all. I only have Valley Quail now & they are locked up inside the grey building. How much snow have you gotten this year. Drifts 4-5'+ but 3' is about what we got. So far. I had to duck inside the pens. Roof is nearly 7' high. That was on well packed snow. This morning it was -12c and still (last three days) snowing. "They" are calling for + temps this weekend.

We hit the mid 40's yesterday and it is 28F this morning! The snow/ice is coming off the roads in buckets. I really need bare ground by next week. Picking up a pup in Indiana this next week end and would like to start working outside soon!

I guess we have been lucky here. No snow this season except for a few flurries a couple days. Last week we had temps some days close to 90 degrees. Today it was 83 degrees. All the trees have leaves, the flowers are bloomed, many people planted gardens already and beginning Thursday night we will have lows in the 20's for several days from a front coming down from you guys up in the northwest! Thanks guys!!!!

Glad we could help you out! But there is going to be substantial damage done down here.........practically everything has started to bloom/bud. It got too warm, too early.
