Each year Momma Moose teaches her young to lick salt off vehicles. Must be great for the paint, eh !

When was the last time you had the chance to go hunting? Or was the 1/2 dozen or more roadkill? j2

Haven't really hunted since moving here. 8-9 years ?
Had tags a few of the years, but was away working most hunting seasons.
Still get Deer in the yard though.
Hunt/shoot Coyotes year round.

Only had one road kill. Back in (about) 1980/81 ? Buddy & I were headed out early ice fishing in northern BC. Transport ahead of us banged a Moose calf in the head. We loaded it up & took to Fish & Feathers , asked if we could keep it. Yup. Only damage was the head.

Hunted lots in BC. Elk being my favorite ! Moose 2nd, White Tail 3rd & Mule Deer last.
